Next year it will be 30 years since Øyvind Berg started his flight school in McMinnville, Tenessee.

We are thinking about a re-union so as to celebrate and to get away from jobs and wifes, etc.

Some have suggested going back to McMinnville, or even Murfreesboro to live up the old days when we were all studs and the world was there for the taking.

Others (Me) have suggested Cozumel so as to rent a bunch of cottages on the beach and live in the sun with the bikini girls and margarittas for a week or so.

Cozumel is also fairly easy to get to: Continental Airlines flies there from Newark with conncetions from Norway and other places.

All them SAS, BU and Widerøe guys are in the same family with passes and deals on CA thanks to Janne Carlson and Frank Lorenzo..

So, uh: Who is open for a such a reunion, and for those who went to McMinnville Aviation in McMinnville, or to the International Fligth Center in Murftown, identify yerself and sign up for a good time.

Heck, we may even sign up the old man himself: Mr. Øyvind Berg lives in West Palm Beach in Florida and if we have any balls, we ought to buy him a ticket and booze/hotel in Cozumel.

Sign up here boys, don't be shy and bring sunscreen and condoms...

Used to know the old Berg himself from back in early 80s when I visited IFC to get an FAA ATPL over the week-end. Liked Murftown and returned a couple of times. Stayed with Berg and had a lot of fun. Not a bvad idea with a reunion, even thou I am not one of those who started at IFC getting a PPL. But sh!t, let us how things develop on this thread.

Hmm, not much of a development around here.

Whas up?

Are we surrounded by a bunch of duds, OR don't we have any ex-TN boys from the hey-days on this here forum?

Come on boys, don't be shy: Speak up and lets meet for a fresh grog and some memory tales, or hold yer tongue forever...

Aye here comes trouble..

So how are things?
(Still living the homosexual lifestyle? )

Even so, look me up and we will go for brew over at Durty Harrys, the sleaziest bar in town.

Everything else is the same around here: I keep bouncing from job to job and my resume (C.V.) looks like a disaster...I quit counting @ 19 flying jobs and that was a few years ago.

Not doing much sailing these days. Still looking for slutty girls who enjoys scrubbing decks, but no luck so far.

So ya still with the same firm? Spending time in the Middle East?
Or ya settled down with a Danish country girl and mucho bambinos?

Either way, long time no see. Lets open the taps and tell stories when ya get to the land of sun shine and palmtrees.

Re:

The thought of sunny beaches at Cozumel sounds good, TD. And early summer -08 will be fine. That is good spacing since I will be sailing the Caribbean Seas from January16.
Good to see you here!
How does the other seat fit

Not so good bro.

Being an old fat and lazy Captain I am used to calling the shots and running the show.

These days I am concerned if the (real) Captain would approve of me putting the gear down to steepen the descent so as to catch the glide-slope..

Life is always changing in my life and always was..

Besides that, good job and little pain after the pesky training is done with.

Hope ya are a-okay and not freezing them nuts off in Northern Norway North of Namsos..
