This is for the scandinavian speaking people.
How can the media publish something crap like this. This is one of the worst writings I've ever seen.

Why the surprise? Expressen is a sensationalistic newspaper. If it isn't true then it could have been... Remember the writings about actor Mikael Persbrandt. Besides, it was stormy, airplanes probably dipped their wings all over the place and people were frightened, some of it is true in general, the rest is "drama"...
I'm sure the captain had a stiff whiskey after landing...

First of all you don't have to believe all that Expressen and Aftonbladet is writing, you have to be very critical with their news. Specially with this kind of news! Come on! people that pissed on their pants, flight attendants that where just sitting and crying,
sorry but all this sounds like "bull......." to me!!
And also why the woman interviewed never gaved the name of the airline she was flying with??One of the things newspapers likes to know in this situations is what airline, what type of aircraft, what happend etc.
One of the other top points of this stupid story is that their where in the way to colliade with another aircraft.. First thanks to the TCAS (traffic colision avoidence system) equipment and second the ATC (air traffic controller) this is very hard to happend, but it can happen.. but chances are minimum nowadays.
Also how in earth if the flight attendent was crying, was sitting down and was so scared could she look in the window to see that the aircraft was in the way to collide with another aircraft!!
Or perhaps she went running to the cockpit and asked the pilots if they where in a collision course??
One thing that was very strange is that they went to land to Norway when Danmark Copenhaguen (if they didn't have storm) and Jönköping airports where available, because when the storm was strongest i talked to my syster who lives in Jönköping and she told me that is was a bit windy but not much, so i think this entire story looks very strange to me to believe.
I think the story is completly rubish...no true
PS:If i'm not wrong Landvetter was even closed some hours..

I think we should send all Flight Attendants to do some flights with wideroe in norway...then nobody would have cried during that approach...
second, me thinks that the dispatchers at said company get to choose where to go...

Sure they will. My wife for example. I said to her that I thought it far fetched that the captain would be shocked after the go-around but she said WHY? Do you know what shock is? She's a nurse, and no, considering there are a number of descriptions of shock I suppose she's right. Why wouldn't pax have peed their pants, it's a normal reaction when the body gets ready to die or flee. Can't say I enjoy flying when someone else is at the controls and I'm in the back and can't see what the heck is going on.
Flight attendants aren't immune to fear of death and I'm sure it was a pretty shaky ride. Ok, they may have exaggerated a bit, that's drama, and it's still a sensationalist newspaper.
I nearly peed my pants the other night when a 3000 hr pilot performed aerobatics, IMC, in gusty weather when he was supposed to be flying IFR point-to-point and learn how the non-aerobatic aircraft operated with one engine out.
If I hadn't known anything about flying I would have shat myself.
