Interested In working in Norway
Been living in Australia most of my life but still hold my Norwegian passport. Currently working in the Northern Territory and I have accumulated over 3000 hours and of which 1200 is multi. Not much Instrument Flying due to the great weather down here. I hold an Australian ATPL and I’m interested in pursuing work in Norway. What do I need to do? Finding it hard to get information. Do I need a JAA licence ??? Any help would be appreciated.

Working in Norway
It is my understanding that you will need either a Norwegian license or a JAA license to fly a LN registrered aircraft.
Best of luck to you!

You would defenetly need a JAA licence. Your best option is to see if you can get something in the form of a validation with the UK CAA.They are the easyest CAA in europe (no im not british and do my bussiness with the dutch caa) and since you are from Australia maybe you can get a UK national licence first and convert this to a JAA licence.
You can find more info on http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?categoryid=137
And just for the record you need to be fluent in Norwegian to have any chance of a yob. trust me I've been trying for 7 years.
