Look what I found on NACīs web

This is copied and pasted from NACīs web www.pilotutdanning.no.

JOB OPPORTUNITY
The SAS Group will from now on primary reqruit pilots from direct entry, meaning that you as a graduated pilot will be first in line when one of the airlines within the SAS Group are reqruiting! Within the SAS Group there are 8 airlines, and several of these are having plans to recruit pilots in 2004.

This raises a few questions:
- Which of the eight airlines is about to recruit pilots in 2004?
- Is it really true that they primarliy are going to look for NAC graduates?

Unbelievable, after kicking out lots of pilots. Hard to believe.
Maybe Blue1 is hiring or Baltic? Approximately 10-20 jet fleet pilots have left Blue1 during last year. Now the B1 is expanding operations and they might need reinforcements. I donīt know for sure but that is the best guess.

They will not be in line in front of the fired SAS/SC pilots, as re-employment to SAS follows the seniority list, even for pilots who are not in the company anymore. And the NAC students are not on the seniority list.

Basically the SAS Commuter operations will continue as normal within SAS. The big difference will be for the administrative personnel.

First SAS Commuter operations (airplanes and crew) will be transferred to Scandinavian Airlines Consortium, and then the SAS Commuter Operation will "follow" the splitting of SAS into three national organizations as a part of Scandinavian Airlines.

There are many unemployed ATPL holders in Finland thus Blue1 (or other Finnish airlines) do not necessarily need NAC or other foreign pilots.
