On the move again?
To me it seems that the aviation business is on the move again. Looks like the marked is in more need for pilots than ever (3 last yrs).
Anyone have comments on that?

Hi,
Yes, I agree, but what conserns me is that nowdays many airlines dont just want you to be typerated, but current on type with 500 hrs as well.
At the moment there is huge demand for those pilots who have that 500hrs on the B737 or A320. But I have not seen many company´s looking for first officers to that type of airplanes without typerating.
So there are definately things happening. And Nowdays some of the lowcost carries are offering a job with them if you are willing to pay your own typerating.

Yes, things seem to be looking up!!
Even with a type-rating on an old airplane like a Fokker 50 it is now possible to get a job. I'm amazed and ofcourse very happy about this.
I hope that it will be possible to move on to a jet within the next couple of years without having to pay a fortune again.
