That engine was thrashed; not just some bent compressor blades, but the entire first few stages lying in the bottom of the nacelle in cookie-sized shreds. Luckily the debris were contained. |
Who ever was flying the Canberra, must have had their hands full & done a first class job on one engine,as this aircraft had a reputation for not flying well at all on one engine.:D

To deviate a little from the title, the Canberra was only a handful if an engine failed below V2 with take off power or high power set. If memory serves above 135kts the rudder was capable of looking after the yaw. |
