Hi, anyone able to identify this medal, please? It might be a state medal or even foreign which is why I put the thread in here.

Sandpaper Proficiency Medal?

As Nutloose says, looks like the UNTAC Cambodia medal - UN medals usually have the Sky blue stripes on them in various combinations, and the Australian DF gives permission for recipients to wear their UN awards.

United Nations Transitional Authority Cambodia medal, looks right assuming the red stripes are obscured by the graininess of the images. Australia was a participant and issued a Cambodia clasp for the Australian Service Medal, unlike the UK Aussie service(wo)men can wear a UN medal as well for service where a national medal has also been issued. Can't see the ASM in this group though but may be off to left as we look.

We aim to please :). The clue for me was the UN colours in the ribbon, it was then a matter of just searching through them..
