The USAF has published one of the best books on the PLAAF and its free Ken Allen and Cristina Garafola of the U.S. Air Force’s China Aerospace Studies Institute has published one of the best books on the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF). Ken’s book does not cover the hardware aspect of the PLAAF, he focused instead on the ‘software’ part. The book is organized into six components with Ken writing on the organizational structure, personnel, education, training, and military diplomacy.
