Submarine officer Claire Jenkins ‘filmed X-rated videos’ at Faslane

A Royal Navy officer is under investigation after she was caught making indecent films with her partner, a leading seaman, at the Faslane nuclear submarine base.

Lieutenant Claire Jenkins, 29, who has commanded a team of sailors on HMS Artful, the Astute-class attack submarine, is accused of selling the content on an adult website.

The warfare officer, who uses the name Cally Taylor on the website, regularly posts explicit pictures and videos with her boyfriend, Liam Doddington, also based at Faslane.

It is understood that a number of their films may have been shot inside the naval base, home to the Trident missile-armed nuclear submarine fleet, and sold on Only Fans. The Royal Navy has opened an investigation over allegations that she has brought the navy into disrepute.

A navy source told The Times: “It appears an officer serving on board a submarine has in her private time taken photos of herself in various stages of undress.” They said that the images and films “do look suspiciously like they were taken in military accommodation”.

“When it became apparent she has filmed on the base, this is a clear discipline issue. She has stepped over the line and she is bringing the navy into disrepute.”......

Jenkins is currently on leave before she is given her next assignment. She is unlikely to be sacked, although sources said that she would likely be disciplined.

Her films came to the navy’s attention last week. When the allegation was put to her, she admitted to it..........

Disciplined......

Careful she might enjoy it

Training Risky 9th Feb 2021 07:51

So she spends her days snorkelling in a tight tube with lots of blokes...and then goes to work on a submarine?! :)

Training Risky 9th Feb 2021 07:54

Seriously though, I think that this kind of thing was one of the valid arguments against Wrens going to sea.

Rwy in Sight 9th Feb 2021 08:13

Her films came to the navy’s attention last week.
I am wondering how it happened - how the navy become aware (hey mate here is a good site to visit)

treadigraph 9th Feb 2021 08:14

I take it these films are unlikely to be given a certificate "U-Boat" by the British Board of Film Censors...

Hmmm, a new British sex comedy - "Up Periscope"...

Lookleft 9th Feb 2021 08:33

Or maybe Carry-on Up the Trident.

Wensleydale 9th Feb 2021 08:36

Das Butt? ........

Tashengurt 9th Feb 2021 08:44

Wouldn't running the film club count as a secondary duty?

brakedwell 9th Feb 2021 09:04

Won't she become a Lieutenant Commander automatically now?

Professional Pilots Rumours Network

All perfectly acceptable as long as misssiles were not armed and all safety pins fitted.
Pretty standard stuff on a Boeing, which came equipped with stirrips and grab handles, which were not for decoration.
The 80s were unbeatable. Bring them back at once

morton 9th Feb 2021 12:36

I didn’t think Officers and Other Ranks were allowed to fraternise outside of work.
Or was it classed as work?
An ideal situation for Doddington to riposte “It’s a job and someone had to do it!”

Richard Dangle 9th Feb 2021 12:38

hmmmm

Maybe someone's working their ticket and getting a ton of free marketing in the process????????????????

NutLoose 9th Feb 2021 12:46

Brings a new meaning to open outer doors...

NutLoose 9th Feb 2021 12:55

They're all at it, they are looking for another.

Warfare officer Lt Jenkins has commanded a team of sailors on the HMS Artful... She was also responsible for Tomahawk cruise missiles, embarking special forces at sea and covert insertions.

scarecrow450 9th Feb 2021 13:15

Going down has a new meaning now ?

treadigraph 9th Feb 2021 13:18

Could bring a whole new meaning to "submerge"...

HMS Conquer Her?

Less Hair 9th Feb 2021 13:24

"Minuteman".

squeaker 9th Feb 2021 14:05

“Das Butt”, brilliant! There must be some more, “We Dive at Dawn”?

treadigraph 9th Feb 2021 14:42

Do you mean Muff Dive at Dawn?

eckhard 9th Feb 2021 14:46

Yes, at the crack of Dawn (whoever she is).

heights good 9th Feb 2021 14:52

Am I the only one that thinks this has zero to do with the navy in any way unless she is wearing uniform or verbalising she is in the navy and has divulged it during her DV interview.

The big no no is the fact that her "leading man" is also a "Leading Seaman". (I am assuming that it is not a typo).

It is, it's Leading Semen. ;)

Wensleydale 9th Feb 2021 15:45

I remember back in the days of yore when the attractive female 2nd Lt adjutant of the White Helmets motorcycle display team was given a formal warning for being too familiar by socialising with the non-commissioned members of the team. Her response was to pose in full (gradually becoming more un)dress uniform for Mayfair magazine. Her career was cut very short after that.

Green Flash 9th Feb 2021 15:46

Will there be a depth charge?

As long as they aren't in the same CoC, it really isn't.

spitfirek5054 9th Feb 2021 16:06

Time to bring up Seaman Stains and Master Bates:)

I think you need to realise you are living in the 21st Century now. Relationships between officers and ORs is not Verboten, certainly not in the RAF. If it effects work, discipinary proceedures apply like any workplace. If one was found doing what she did on the property of my civilian company , it would be dismial as gross misconduct. It should be the same here. Flood tube one.

ex82watcher 9th Feb 2021 16:27

The order went out"Lieutenant - blow ballast",but she couldn't find him.

Storm in a teacup. Crikey how many standard military beds appeared in Readers Wives over the years? (little else to do in the Q shed).
Oh and the month you couldn't get a Razzle within 100 miles of Valley after the partner of one of the studes was an 'angel in the 'centrefold'.

Living life in the Faslane eh?

Sadly I've enforced firewall on the family internet connection.

NutLoose 9th Feb 2021 22:41

Permission to come alongside.

So if cohorting is now allowed, have they got rid of the other stupid rule of blocks being out of bounds?
