It must be the year because as mentioned in your link it lists the Italian G222 which crashed when the nosewheel collapsed after a heavy nosewheel first landing and closed Fairford's runway for a while until it was dragged clear - I remember it well!

Glad I sold my “Buy to Rent” near Alconbury decades ago. Used by Base Housing, and well looked after. I wonder how many are still relying on that market these days?

Lakenheath have always been very friendly and helpful when I've flown through their combined MATZ (not that they have much choice) so I'd have hoped Fairford would be happy with the same arrangement. Any expansion of the Brize zone South/West is going to create another nasty bottleneck.
