There appears to be no escapement from clocking on to this thread, there has been some jewels posted so far, 17 jewels to be precise. I will continue to watch what happens and see how long it takes until it sweeps to the bottom of the page, I am surprised a thread clockwise has lasted so long.

I was looking for batteries for this clock. There were none, so I wound up at a clock shop.

Come on folks, enough's enough. This thread is starting to really tick me off.

Would a military clock be allowed to strike?
|
Some posts on here are just minute attempts to fob us off

You're all cuckoos, the lot of you..

Propose it's time to start a movement to clock off - Hands up if someone would kindly second that.

Thanks, NutLoose. It appears I died 2 years ago. Should I be worried? Am I living on borrowed time?
|
My sincere condolences, how was ones wake?
|
I must have slept through it, or failed to set the alarm clock.

B*gger that. The Death Clock says 9/11 2020. I want 12/23 2046 at least. That's a ton, and I'm anticipating a congratulatory email from King William and the pension trustees meeting and grumbling "is that old b*stard STILL drawing his pension?"

Time Gentlemen please !
|
Certainly, Sir ... at the 3rd stroke it will be 14:40 ... beep, beep, beeeeep

I understand the thief was called Procrastinator

I hope the quartz deal firmly with you lot!
|
You're winding me up, surely
|
I was sure you were battery-powered, with a cheap Taiwanese movement ;)
