I understand that there is to be a flypast of up to four Hercs at Marshall's Cambridge base at 12:00 on Monday 19th . Weather etc permitting !
I thought the RAAF got their 1st C-130 in 1958?

Four Hercs up from BZN c/s Omen 1 to 4 currently with Coningsby radar .
Edit ; flypast completed as planned :D |
Heard, but not seen as they were above the clag. Unlike the MV-22 who came through a few minutes later and was clearly visible.
Didn't they look nice and shiny before somebody slapped paint on them?
The first K to arrive was XV177. XV176 didn't arrive until in the UK until May 1967 and was probably around the 14th to turn up (shows how quick delivery was!).
