Do squadron pilots "report to" the Boss nowadays? And does he "report to" OC Flying" and so on up the chain? And as for "stakeholders" and "shareholders", whoever introduced those notions to the military should be thoroughly ashamed of himself.

One might be forgiven for thinking that the modern RAF has become so obsessed with process that it has forgotten what the process is supposed to achieve.
