A mate of mine had to do a summary of evidence for a Courts Martial while on a holding posting. The guilty b@stard was accused of performing a lewd act in the NAAFI (He'd given his mate a blow job in front of everyone present while p!ssed).

The proceedings went very well up until the point the accused was marched in. His name; SAC Mycock!

A true story - honest!

I did once work with a very nice bloke called Hugh Watt.

Also, a golden oldie, mate phoned local pub asking for Mike Hunt. Barmaid got as far as shouting 'Anyone seen my...' before spotting him at the other end of the bar on his mobile, wetting himself. Close but no cigar.:D

Always meant to take of photo of this one, but never did - shame. On the brass plaque outside a Psychiatrist in Hanover, the good Doktor rejoiced in the name of 'Lutz Boldt'. Proves that a german joke really is no laughing matter!

I was playing golf with a friend a good few years ago, who has long drifted into the past. His name was Mike Hunt and his wife had just given birth to a son. Mike decided that he would call this little innocent Warwick!

Always wonder how the young Mr Hunt manages with the name - or if he changed it! Must have been hell making mistakes in view of one's friends!!!

On one memorable detatchment, after several crates of Keo, we made nameplates out of anagrams of our names.

The one that sticks in my mind is.......

Ratprick Nosipad

I once attended a trade exhibition where one of the exhibitors was the Wang Corporation of America. All of their staff had name badges with the Wang logo and their surnames on them.....very unfortunate for Mr King
