Puma Reunion 2011

Even though we had a good get together in July to celebrtate the 40th anniversary of the Puma. Is the annual reunion still on this year?

I'm certainly planning to attend again

R 21 24th Oct 2011 07:48

Oh yes, room and train all booked looking forward as ever but not to the hangover!

Dundiggin' 24th Oct 2011 21:48

I'll be there.............

NutLoose 24th Oct 2011 23:12

I bet you can tell a table full of Puma loadies a mile off, they will be the ones kneeling under the table looking out :)

R 21 25th Oct 2011 12:33

Same place as always, same day as always !!

Hoping to be there.

Not LSH, he'll be standing up under the table and looking out.

And with helmet on!
(No grubby remarks, please!)

Hoping to be there, just waiting for the roster......

Thank you for being so helpful with you reply to a direct question. Despite having being on the Puma for 7 years I still have no idea where the normal place/time is.....

pm me and I'll let you know the detail once I know who you are.

It's only me

You've been on Puma for 7 years, and you still don't know?

I must add, your date of joining PPrune seems rather "fishy" to me :suspect:

Halton Brat 26th Oct 2011 08:45

'It's only me' is not the only one. I was Pumoid groundcrew at Gutersloh '86-'90, & I have no idea of the details of this social fracas.

Is it a bit like joining the Masons? Do I need to shave a leg or something?

PUMA REUNION

Just clarify - Is this a Loadie do or can anyone play?

Phil.

St Johns Wort 26th Oct 2011 15:54

Manthrust, always on the last friday in November.:)

Phil, all welcome.:ok:

Seldomfitforpurpose 26th Oct 2011 16:18

Due to become a Grandad about that time so may not make it this year but will certainly try :ok:

WASALOADIE 26th Oct 2011 17:11

Not just a Loadie do

Anyone who's current or ex-Puma are more than welcome, its surprising some of the faces that turn up.

Seymour Belvoir 26th Oct 2011 19:45

Seldom - you're far too young to be a grandfather, surely!

Seldomfitforpurpose 26th Oct 2011 20:01

I am way too young to be a grandfather but the swines have done it to me anyhow, all the love and affection I showed and this is how they treat me............:):):)

Now, now now then now......

Philrigger show a bit of respect - there's no such animal as a 'Loadie' on helicopters.
I presume you mean a 'Crewman' or you really do need to get some time in....;)

LOADIES

Might I suggest that at your age you may not be that well suited to all those bright lights and all that noise in London :E

Wiretensioner 27th Oct 2011 19:38

Few of us had CM Brevet's on our name patches. Got my first one for the '82 Tiger Meet (remember that one lsh) and when I left in 2004 I still had a CM brevet on my name badge. In fact the only LM brevet I had was on me No.1 uniform.

lsh 27th Oct 2011 20:13

Hi Mate!

First guy I saw with a "CM" brevet was Duncan McD, asked him where he got it?

He made it out of his "QM" one, looked pretty good too!

Me

7 years on the force and you don't know where or when it is????

Go and ask one of your Sqn mates who will tell you then ........ duh!

No need for a public announcement!

It's only Me 1st Nov 2011 17:50

As it happens I do know where/when it is; as with the Benson do, I was trying to help those that don't know by actually getting getting a proper reply. Guess you are not capable.

Now I know why I left.
