TG18 PAS rumour

C17/C130 qualified TG18 rumoured to be offered PAS to solve retention issues?:D:D

I didn't even know they got flying pay.

More believable if it was

"Logs(Mover) rumoured..."

Jabba_TG12 5th Jul 2011 11:39

What next?

"TG10 in PAS offer to solve retention issue" shocker? :ugh::hmm:

Must be garbage, All JNCO Movers and above are on the higher pay band, No Movers are being cut (yet) in SDSR, 3 years plus on MAMS / JHSU and you are the higher rate of crew pay. Not heard of any Mover exodus. C130 is a core trade requirement and there are plenty of C17 Q'd people too.

Right,

I will explain this only once, so listen carefully.

PAS adds your flying pay to basic pay, thus making it pensionable - that is all. Yes it is incremental, just like Pay 2000.

So, I am all in favour of putting all ground trades on PAS. As they are not in reciept of flying pay, there is absolutely no benefit and it will cost absolutely nothing.

If there was even the slimmest chance it would make them more capable I would definately be in favour :ok:

They'll be giving it to Aircrew next.....

Later;
MOG:ugh:

Isn't PAS 'Professional AIRCREW Spine' by definition???

Isn't PAS 'Professional AIRCREW Spine' by definition???
Close it's the 'Professional Aviators' pay Spine'. Which leads to 2 questions:
Shouldn't it be PAPS?

Are all the other aviators Spineless Amateurs?
