Thoughts with the Family.
Sooner we are out of that dump and leave them to it the better. Too many lives are being affected........ and for what? RIP |
RIP.
I was part of 903 last summer and know the strain that it can put everyone back home under. My heart felt condolences to the family. |
RIP., Deepest condolences to the family of this man.
Perhaps the only thing that they will have to comfort them at this time is the level of national awareness of the sacrifice of HMF serving overseas due to Harry being in the news. Maybe HRH will have served his country more than he realises. |
RIP. Sincerest condolences to family, friends and colleagues.
Sadly, this event should focus some minds back to reality and not the sideshow of a member of royalty returning home. |
Thoughts are with family and friends... RIP

What a day for Brize. Dealing with the Harry thing and, at the same time, having to manage the death of one of its own.

"Baz" Barwood
I only knew Baz from the couple of months that I have been out on 903. His passing away shocked everyone on ESS. The evening of the 29th will not be forgotten by the people on 903 who were there.
My heartfelt condolances to his family and friends. RIP Mate, taken way before your time... |

RIP Good Buddy
What a complete waste.
Baz, was a tip top bloke. I knew him personally as a mate and as a team member for RAF Brize Norton First Response. I must have done 15 shifts with him in Swindon; he was an exceptional character. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his personality was infectious. I am absolutely gutted. I spoke to him only a couple of weeks ago, just a day or two before his return to UK for a weeks R & R and he was really looking forward to it. Enough now, He will Never be forgotten. Per Ardua Buddy. |
I knew Baz for a short time he was certainly dedicated to the Royal Air Force. Another sad loss my thoughts are with his family.
|
I served with Baz when he was a gunner on 37 Sqn and later at Innsworth where he was CinC PTC's driver, (Joe French IIRC). His lovely wife worked with mine for a while and they were both genuinley good people. I heard the announcement tonight whilst out driving and had to pull over to catch my breath. A top bloke who will be sadly missed. My thoughts to Sharon and the girls.
