Quotes from Films
Name the film - if I'm wrong, they'll be in Whitehall by next week ....'
Feel free to add your own quote. Used to play this game with a nav at the most innapproriate moments. Those were the days. |
Battle of Britain - spoken by Olivier/Dowding?

Hmmmm
It sounds like it might come from something like Battle of Britain?!
I also love playing this game, but I shall adhere to the international rules of the film quote game and not pose my own until I know if my answer was correct! (Yes I did try Googling it as a last resort but no luck!) BV:hmm: Edited to add: Excellent, I was right! How about: "I'd take pleasure in guttin' you, boy!" |
Tell the Tiger that our race will have to be postponed
|
"I'd take pleasure in guttin' you, boy!"
Said to Nicolas Cage in The Rock if memory serves..... How about "Drop the gun fat boy!" |
Sorry Peppermint, I misread your post. On reflection, however,
"Drop the gat, fun boy"" Isn't too bad a line is it? Sounds like something that might be said at a secret helicopter base not too far from here......... DD. |
"I am your Superior Officer"
"No Sir,you are merely a higher ranking one" |

Rule 1. You cannot ask another poser until someone solves the last one. Its an incentive to dig deep and draw upon our 1000 hrs Sky Movie in a tent badges. :=
Rule 2. See Rule 1. |
Come on chaps. The rules are quite simple, in fact very similar to the caption competition topic. Just to summarise..
The first person puts up the quote. The first person who guesses from which film the quote comes gets to put up their quote for someone else to guess. Simple really. Posting your own quote and the answer isn't really playing the game. Edited as I was beaten to it by Mr Burns :O |
You mean like:
"Another fine MEZ you gotten me into". Iranian Airliner.:8 |
"Rules are there for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men" - Reach For The Sky
"Operations, our aircraft are overheating and so am I. Either we take-off or blow up!" - Battle of Britain |
Now the rules are finally sorted.................
"Don't wait for me"...................... |
We each owe a death, there are no exceptions!!!!!!!!!
|

'I like big men, when they fall down they make more noise - and sometimes they never get up.....'
|
'I like big men, when they fall down they make more noise - and sometimes they never get up.....' "Waaaaaahhhhhh a waaaaahhhhh a waaahhhhh.................." Easy one next: "Let me see if I've got this straight: in order to be grounded, I've got to be crazy and I must be crazy to keep flying. But if I ask to be grounded, that means I'm not crazy any more and I have to keep flying." *or SAR STANEVAL ;) |
"Let me see if I've got this straight: in order to be grounded, I've got to be crazy and I must be crazy to keep flying. But if I ask to be grounded, that means I'm not crazy any more and I have to keep flying." |
Try this one fellas - "No bucks, no Buck Rogers"
