Exclamation Defence Force Aptitude Testing

Hey Guys,

I am undergoing Australian Defence Force Aptitude Testing in Melbourne on Friday. I am applying for the ADFA Education Award (Year 11 - VCE) under 'Air Force - Pilot'. The testing begins at 0745hrs (nice & early, I know!) and concludes with an interview with Defence Force Personnel. If all goes well, I should be home by around midday. If I am successful, I will undergo specialist training in September.

My query relates directly to the Aptitude Testing. What kind of questions does it involve? I have been told that it is basically a 'glorified' general knowledge test. Others have said it is complex equations and common problem solving.

Has anyone been through the testing phase lately? Could you please inform me of what the testing involves and how easy/hard it might be?

Any info will be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

Souls.
