33 SQN loses VIP

33 Squadron RAAF lost it's VIP role in May this year leaving the four B707 in air-to-air refuelling and transport roles. VIPs are now the exclusive purview of the BBJ and Challenger based in Canberra.

2003 also marks 20 years since 33 Squadron was reformed at RAAF Richmond on 1 July 1983. To celebrate the Squadron is inviting all past members to a dinner on 16 August 2003.

Oh, THAT 33 Sqn!

Ah well...thought I was going to hear of a bluder of epic proportions from the Benson boys e.g: Allistair Campbell was put in the bits box to save on leg-room for the other pax, only to be discovered by SAC Jones on the aff-baff.
