Wait a bl**dy minute
Am I really getting slagged by a couple of limeys over cuisine??
The last decent idea you guys had was eating limes to counter scurvy. My God, your idea of sophisicated pastry is Yorkshire pudding commonly used to soak up the juices in an over cooked piece of horse flesh you mistake for roast beef. Your Irish friends, (I'm about 6 generations removed from County Cork) boil meat, cabbage and potatoes and call that a holiday meal. We all know that a Irish seven course meal is a six pack and a potato. Please come to RI, we do not live by McD's alone, although we seem to be able to export it to Europe quite easlily. Must be the dining out competion in the British Isles
The Aussies have wines, NZ has lamb, Scotland has scotch,, the rest is warm beer and ............what have I forgotten
Anyway, its your turn when you all wake up, Jacko, SW cuisine is fine but not the only gem in the crown.
Out of curiosity, if they truly had Dueling pistols in the early Olympics and they acted out the duels in the traditional manner, was a silver medal really considered a win???

T_richard: sorry to disappoint you but I only ever post under this identity and have no interest in sheep, black faced or other (I am not Welsh/Kiwi/Aussie).
However, I do agree with icing American beer - it's the only way to make that mule-piss drinkable!
