Jetstreams over North Devon?
There has been a Jetstream flying low-level Southwest over my house between Holsworthy and Torrington up to three times a day recently. Out of interest, does anyone know what the exercise is?

Low level navex phase for the studes at the home of naval aviation on the lizard. One chap must surely have got lost as every time he transmitted his position he always said he was heading west when he was flying east and vice versa. Made atc laugh, LOTS.

Thanks a lot. I figured it must be a low level navex, but didn't know where they came from. They look pretty low -- mostly lower than I bimble in the cub and certainly a LOT lower than I bimble on weekdays.
Anyway, just so everyone knows, you'll probably find the most civvy aerial activity in North Devon around Eggesford, where there is now a large collection of Austers and cubs and (a Broussard!). I don't think Bellevue is quite as active, or even Eaglescott.
