I just saw a report on this on the world service and their website is worth a look. I reckon this could make Apache obsolete before it ever enters service!!!!!

Looks a bit like one of them good ol' push operated reel lawn mowers.

Now what was that book where the guy who is meant to be a spy, sends London pictures of vaccuum cleaner parts instead of Russian missile technology?

Don't know about the spy book but my question is:

If the bottom blade is creating thrust, is the top blade (going forward into the airflow) generating nearly as much/as much drag?

I think it may be like cold fusion, perpetual motion and the GR4 replacement - not in my lifetime!
