Sidewinder 50th
Between the 1st and 3rd of November, the the US Navy Air Warfare Center will host a three day celebration of the 50th anniversary of the the Sidewinder missile - including historical weapons exhibits, museum and laboratory tours, an evening Gala and a golf tournament.
If you've ever fired a Sidewinder, in combat, in the lab or on the range, you can attend and join the "Nest of Vipers: A Supremely Selective Society of Snake Shooters", which will be established at the celebration.
