IOT communications triangle
Ah, the benefits of old age. How the mind goes. Can someone younger help me, please.
I'm putting together some media/communications training and want to use the triangle they teach at IOT/ROIT on the stages of communications. I recall it started as strangers/non communication at the base and moved up through seven stages to a state of comms excellence at the apex.
A name would help so I can search it out on the web (bound to have been some continental philosopher or similar). Even better if anyone can remember the seven stages I'd be very grateful.

Edited because I thought you meant the actual communications triangle at work in the RAF. Try:

Can't say i've ever been talking to a mate and suddenly thought "My god, we've just reached th Feelings stage, only one more level to go til Peak Rapport!", but then again it is the kind of cr*p that's taught at IOT to supposedly make you a better person.
