Romania's first home built IAR-99SM trainer flys.

Although "New" it is a modernised variant designed as an F-16 / F-35 lead in and light ground attack capable. It is very Hawk looking.

Good on them. Nutty, I see what you mean but to me it's more like a MB-339 with a MB-329 vertical stabilizer.

A bit more use of a straight edge on the fin, but certainly similar. Convergent evolution?
