RAF MRS were active in Scotland in 1994 with both RAF Kinloss MRT (c/s Alpine Kilo) (now RAF Lossiemouth MRT) and RAF Leuchars MRT (c/s Alpine Lima)(disbanded 2013). SAR helicopters of 22 Sqn had recently shut down at Leuchars in 1993 and ARCC was still at Pitreavie (Edinburgh Rescue) and Mountbatten (Plymouth Rescue) before it moved to Kinloss in 1996.
