MBDA Germany is setting up Patriot PAC-2 GEM-T production capacity in Schrobenhausen in expectation of a 3 digit order from Germany.

Final assembly of Meteor, restarting Stinger production and Brimstone production at the site are also on the table.

The German Armed Forces' (Bundeswehr) plans to equip their Eurofighter aircraft with Brimstone anti-tank guided missiles, manufactured by the European defense company MBDA.

According to Germany's defense procurement plans, they intend to purchase 274 Brimstone missiles, with the Eurofighter Typhoon jets of the German Air Force (Luftwaffe) set to carry this new weapon system.

The procurement is expected to involve the signing of a contract in the second quarter of the year.

Arming the German Eurofighter jets with Brimstone missiles will provide them with the capability to strike against surface targets.

The Brimstone missile, with a reported range of approximately 20 km when fired from aircraft, has been previously integrated with Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft of the Royal Air Force (RAF) and Britain's Tornado jets….

Meanwhile the Tories continue blindly with their plans to reduce the size of the Army, retire RN ships without replacement, reduce the size of the RAF, withdraw entire RAF fleets, withdraw Army IFV’s without replacement and reduce the already paltry main battle tank fleet, whilst simultaneously warning of possible war in 5 years and allocating £50billion+ to fund tax cuts…

Yes, but they are NOT in power at the moment. Pr00ne is talking about those who have had the levers of power for the last dozen years or so and have done nothing but cut all three armed services.

To be fair, they have at least increased budgets over the last five years. Whether that is enough is a different question.

However, never forget that the current leader of the lefty lawyer party actively campaigned - twice - to install a man who would have had us leave NATO and an apologist for Putin to be PM. Those are actions too.....
