Is the HUD a fixture for both models? Is it used only for flight/mission symbology or does it include the use of Enhanced Flight Vision?

One report translated the Sqn motto " Fortiter in Re " as "Brave in Action". In my time it was translated as " A cow's udder in the Sunshine".

As an Aussie I still remember a guest ride in ‘Spock 42’, a 42 SQN Nimrod out to Western Australia for a Fincastle sometime in the 80s. A great crew who gave me a fly of The Mighty Hunter. An unforgettable experience. Glad to hear the Squadron is back in business, 👍👍
