It would be fun to paint one Blue Angels a/c like that.
These posts will have been made by a low paid staffer, I doubt any politician is going to be spending time faffing around on Photoshop making a graphic to post on social media.

To be fair they are historically equal opportunity abusers - the ship here is the Russian Battlecruiser Pyotr Velikiy…
It happens so often you can’t blame low level staffers, there should be a process to get them checked being posting - it’s not as if there aren’t enough military hanging around Congress…

Am I missing something?
It would appear that well meaning patriotic members of the US political system, National Security Agency/Central security Service and the Intelligence community have posted images of support for the US Air Force on the day of its 75th Birthday;
it would appear that these separate and unconnected posts are factually incorrect as;-
Can these unconnected posts be just simple errors of judgement carried out by inexperienced staffers or is there something else going on?

- • The NSA/CSS post appears to show images of two Swedish Gripen Aircraft.
- • Congressman Mike Simpson post appears to show images of US Navy F18 Aircraft.
- • Congresswoman Kathy Castors post appears to show images of US Navy Blue Angel Aircraft which has bizarrely had the US Navy logo pixilated to make the images semi-legible.
- • Congressman Brian Masts post appears to show an image of a Soviet Kirov-class battlecruiser
Can these unconnected posts be just simple errors of judgement carried out by inexperienced staffers or is there something else going on?
Social media might just be a lower priority job handed over to interns and such that use image libraries from the web without any deeper knowledge.
