Odds of an aircraft carrier variant of this being produced: slim to none.
It has a forward looking very high definition camera replicating the blind spots

,,. and there is absolutely no chance of system failure or anything hitting and obscuring the camera. (You may call me an Eyeball Mk1 devoted cynic.)
I do wish the project well though.

On using a camera to replicate the blind spots, theat would be the same as a blank piece of black painted aluminium panel, a blind spot by any other name, cheaper to fabricate, low current draw, easy to add to the ELA, no load shedding, good place to add no smokin', no shooting' no cussin' decal..
