Having looked at Wikipedia, I was surprised at the size of their air force and the number of types being operated. Didn't make me feel great. Let's hope the current incumbent of the top slot in the organisation puts up more of a fight than the last recently departed "politician".

Excellent flypast - thanks for the link. The rather strange looking twin-props at circa 1:45 are presumably from the Piaggio pusher range?

And they will have an excellent representation at RIAT this year - even better than their usually great show. Very much looking forward to seeing them!

Those are P-180AMs of 71° Gruppo, used in the Radio Misure (flight inspection and calibration) role.
