What Army is this guy in

Apologies Mods, for popping this question in the Aviation area. Just that I know that there are many experts in Military areas on here.

Does anyone know what Army this man is in and any other relevant information that who this man might be?

I have tried Google Reverse Lookup with no success.

Regards.

A. US Army. See here: https://home.army.mil/johnson/index....antry-regiment

For those that don't want to follow the link, he's 1/509 Infantry, providing OPFOR at JRTC Fort Johnson, Louisiana.

Is it unusual for the US Army to have a green uniform, without camouflaged?

Thank you guys.
In this photo, would that Fort Johnson have a training ground like this?
I'm not convinced it's the same guy personally.

I know, I know,,, and it isn't me, ok! A friend at work is in shared accommodation (split from the missus), with an Australian Vet (old timer), and my work colleague lent the vet (now amounting to $15,000, to this army man as this 'guy' is due to arrive with gold bullion and all sorts of stuff and they are going to live happily ever after...!

My mouth was aghast as he was telling this story! "You F'ing idiot", I told him.
I asked him to talk to this Vet (male), and find out who this 'boyfriend' is and - he coughed up the msgs that he has received.

It however brings a sad fact of life that there are people who may be close to you, falling for these scams behind the scenes.

Mods may delete the post if it's not conductive to the forum and many thanks for allowing the initial post.

The clue is in OPFOR designation - he's the 'enemy' at a training establishment. Gotta look like a bad guy in someone else's army so they use non standard uniforms and tactics.

I can't believe you used the term 'Man'. How do you know he doesn't identify as a glazed donut, or a sewing machine?

Honestly, did Wiggy teach you nothing?

Do they pass their annual fitness test?

Or has the modern "woke" RAF abandoned the test as it's fitnessist?

Looks like a regular to me, whats more offensive is the person who took the photo without him knowing, then put it on social media looking to take the p*** out of him. The modern RAF has changed alot in the last 2 years and at first glance he's within regs.
if you've got a problem with how he looks speak to him at the time!

Looks like he/she/they is/are at the dentist.

There are 'persons with a womb' who identify differently who look much like that so you can never be too sure.....

Very much part of Wigston's RAF............

I don't think the problem is with the bloke. You see similar all the time downtown. The problem is with the RAF and its standards. He must look like Davy Crockett when wearing headgear.

It’s a hairstyle for goodness sake!

Get over it.

No wonder the RAF has a recruitment and retention problem if this reaction is typical.

Seen through the other end of the telescope, there may be young people out there who take one look and say they do not want to join such an organisation.

I can get over it. I doubt the RAF will be able to. Wigston did a good number on it. The recruitment problem is that the traditional recruitment demographic perceives prejudice and the retention problem is that members want to leave for a merit based employer as soon as possible.

Equally there maybe many more who take one look and feel that it is a service they could consider joining, in a similar way to black footballers playing for England convinced many black youngsters that they too could play for England.
