Passing Coningsby yesterday afternoon…
Outstanding effort.
Twenty Typhoons launched in not very many minutes. Very impressive, chaps and chapesses.
Noted a missing man flown over the station shortly afterwards too. No knowledge but thoughts with those concerned.
Mrs Cough Sr also present (ex V-bomber days) and very impressed. Hope you saw her waving.

No idea about the missing man formation - same sentiments though.
I presume the mass launch is related to the King's Birthday Parade flypast - 20+ were due in the cancelled coronation flypast.

Memorial
The missing man was over a memorial service on the 25th anniversary of the fatal crash of Bill Vivian and Des Lacey’s F3 into the sea. The families seemed quite touched so good job 👏 to the pilots
