Argentinian pilot delivers Air force one

And decided to go on a crazy flypass during bad weather in a city centre. I'm new so I can't post url's so I'd appreciate if someone else could post the video. You'll find it if you Google about it. Only in Argentina I guess!

Watched a Kiwi Air Force 757 do very similar in the 80s at Whenuapai. Forgive bad spelling if appropriate. This also brings to mind. " Too low, gear. Too low, gear"". "Shut up gringo".

Former Iberia B752, subsequently converted to VIP config and recently acquired by Argentina to replace its long-serving previous presidential 757.

So, what was the point?
Was the pilot trying to show his skill? What skill? Doesn't take skill to do that. Stupidity, yes.
That act is a sure sign, of inexperience, S.P.S., or nothing between the ears. Or all 3.
We know the aircraft can do it, cos of an imbacilic pilot, made it do it.

Aviation history is littered with rare events like this one. Sometimes it's a 'wow' event and they get away with it, and earn the applause of the non-aviating gallery, and the astonished disappointment and anger of fellow pilots. Other times it can turn out very badly all round; they pay with their lives - perhaps the lives of innocent bystanders - and the destruction of a beautiful aircraft. This was about the height of a crop spraying run in a Pawnee or an AT-802. Not even the fire bombers normally get down to that level. I image the subsequent discussion with the chief pilot would have been interesting ... Possibly brief as well!

Mentioned on a 'vaguely military themed' website yesterday, a current commercial pilot & a few other pilots said it was a poor show.
impressive to someone with no flying experience other than as SLF (me) but it 'looks' dicey.

As an aside, there's supposed to be an Argentinian a/c due at RIAT this year, not sure of the type but similar to their Air Force One.

I don't see why everyone is making such a fuss, don't they routinely do manoeuvres like this at Air Shows all over the world? If it was French or US military, no one would bat an eyelid. Just because it's a South American operator everyone is looking down their noses and making a fuss.

The real obscenity here is the purchasing of such a jet when their economy is in a terrible terrible crisis.

It was hardly a Bud Holland effort! No harsh manouevring or the like, just a straight and level low pass followed by a gentle left turn at a low bank angle.....

Certainly not a 'crazy flypass (sic)'.....

And now it flies non stop for over 11 hours?

Any idea how this bird - a 757! - flew for over 11 hours today, seemingly non stop from EZE to VLC full of government VIPs? I did not know the 757s had that range!

It's not smart, there is civil traffic on the taxiways and the guy is betting other peoples welfare on his height keeping in a turn at low level. It's not a TAP Portugal A310 level of silliness, but it is pretty inane, who would have been watching it on such a miserable day in BA?

The guys heard cheering on the video to name a few. The person filming seemed to know it was going to happen.
