Sled Driver remembered

I only talked with Major Shul by phone, but he was quite a fine fellow who always had interesting (unclassified) anecdotes about the Blackbird. He made people aware of the terrific achievements of this machine, which was cancelled in 1990 not because of the cost of operating it, but because of the jealous fighter mafia in the USAF. Without Brian's wonderful life, and his terrific books, people would know far less about the SR-71. RIP Major!
