Chinooks Over Chez Golf

Four ship interrupting my nap today, heading west in the sunshine. Any non-secret ideas what they were doing? Pumas would have been nicer, but I'll take any action I can get.

Probably the 6 US Army CH-47's of EASY30 Flight heading to Dublin from Germany via Lydd and Cardiff , see thread here: Six Chinooks over Worthing .

Seems you didn't miscount CG, the other thread reports one force landed in a Welsh field, another landed alongside to assist...

They passed over me (30miles w of Cardiff) at about 1745. Maybe pressing on with 4?
