Mi-17 Toppled on ground

What possibilities are there (less Dynamic Rollover) where Mi-17 helicopter can topple on ground at full RPM ?

Several H-60s and a MH-53 were rolled over in a sudden thunderstorm in Norfolk, Virginia, USA recently. The MH-53 is sizable piece of machinery.

Rusty memory, but I don't recall a deliberate attempt to taxy. We did 'have a moment' doing low speed power checks with the 'fifth wheel' Bedford lorry and Steve R's 'methods' experiment !

I should think the main possibilities are -
  1. External forces such as weather (as already stated)
  2. Poorly damped vehicle-ground interaction - perhaps a failed main landing gear shock strut could cause a divergent vibration condition at some critical rotor speed - I think low RPM would be critical - lower frequency higher amplitude
  3. High payload weight poorly loaded perhaps again linked to a strut failure might create a high enough lean angle
  4. Combinations of the above
  5. Other things that I don't know about!
