Red Arrows 1st Team Manager Obit

Interesting obituary in The Times today.

Wing Commander Richard Storer obituary

Snippet
A few months later, Storer, who had been made squadron leader, was given the task of managing the RAF’s new aerobatic display team, which was equipped with the Folland Gnat, a compact, lightweight fighter, at the Central Flying School at RAF Little Rissington in Gloucestershire.

Although Storer did not fly with the Red Arrows in public, he was their first team manager. He nurtured them through the first two years of their existence and ensured that they survived.
His time on the Vulcan also sounds interesting! (click the link for details)

RIP
