Is SUPA pensionable?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows whether SUPA is pensionable? E,g Flt Lt covering a Sqn Ldr job, in receipt of Substitution Pay/SUPA?

I’ve tried the JSPs and AP’s but can’t find an answer.

Asking for a friend….

Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty certain it isn't, and I'm pretty sure I saw it in a JSP once.

I thought it said so in the eligibility JSP.

Following this one. I was in the same boat Flt Lt with Sqn Ldr SUPA, until recently given A/Sqn Ldr paid. I suspect it might be a factor as the Pension forecast request form AFPS Form 12 asks if you have been in receipt of SUPA in the last 3 years

So JSP754 says:

02.0723. SUPA may be reckonable for pension. SP should consult singleService Warrants and JSP 764 and JSP 905 for further information.
