Still photos are literally a snap-shot and do not necessarily expose the mood surrounding the moment.
But that looks like a rather despondent man with the weight of the world on his shoulders.
At least, it looks that way to me.

My thought too. Some specific threat of a 'spectacular' maybe?

The question is on Sergei Shoigu’s RollsRoycski ( the “General” who has never served a day in the military, but has collected an impressive range of medals ) what are the three lumps sticking up in the passengers side windscreen, are they the Russian equivalent of the GPS, radio and sat nav aerials, or something equally as bad?

Oh. My guess was multiple umbrellas considering both the expected weather and the reliability of Russian umbrellas.

I must admit, I am really surprised that Ukraine didn't do anything disruptive on that day!

Maybe they did and Russia had a LOT of Anti whatever.

Or maybe there was some 'discussion' as to not - really - wake a sleeping lion with a stick...!

They'll be for his speech somewhere when the car stops. Microphones in vehicles are popular with Xi Xinping and Kim Jong Un as well.

I think my favourite theory so far is the manpad threat…’cos it only needed to be a perceived threat to ruin the day.

And I believe that “Drone Spotting” is going to be a ‘thing’ on Pprune from now…
