BBC reporting unidentified Russian Jet shot down

News footage on BBC news showing wreckage of an ''unidentified Russian aircraft'' contains a bit of a clue about its identity. Unfortunately I think a badge visible in the video shows a SU27 image and the wording 831 Air Force Regiment. I say unfortunately because I also think 831 is a Ukranian outfit. When you know it's a Su27 the cockpit section can be Identified with the IR sensor fairing and ejection seat rail visible. So yes it was a Russian aircraft but not in the way it's being reported.
