The Economist on modern warfare

Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

The Economist on modern warfare

Interesting special on Defence Technology in the weeks edition.

Drones, satellites, cyber warfare, submarine detection....................

Several interesting interviews - including one with Mick Ryan , ex Aussie Defence Academy "in the Gulf War it was an hour between being spotted and an airstrike or artillery barrage - now we have 10 minutes - and if we don't move we're dead"
