On that basis I will have to revise my opinion, especially of some of the fast jet jockeys I have known. In light of these findings, they were clearly geniuses after all. Humble and retrospective apologies for the impression I gained at the time.

As for myself, absolutely true. In my various tours in RAF training establishments and on operational units, I have found that provided what I told the students, to aid their understanding, was delivered with complete confidence and authority, it did not actually have to be either accurate or true. I have also been told that I am highly intelligent - in fact, on more than one occasion, I have been likened to a lighthouse in the desert!
