CAP 2254 - Military Aircrew Accreditation Scheme (MAAS)

The new CAP 2254 Military Aircrew Accreditation Scheme (MAAS) was released today. Whilst it is not a huge leap forward, it is a very positive step to see accreditation pathways for UK Military Aircrew towards UK-FCL Licences.

CAP 2254 replaces the information formerly found within CAP804, Part I, Section 4, Part O, concerning the Military Accreditation Scheme. It provides the latest information relevant to those individuals wishing to obtain a civil aircrew licence. Credits are for UK Part-FCL licences available to UK military aircrew. Credit Report in accordance with the Article 10 of UK Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011.

This is the start, and further development is expected.
