Flt Lt John Clemons

For those who might have known John Clemons in the RAF, I sadly have to report that he passed away suddenly on Monday (20 Sep 21). John was ex-Canberra, Jaguar and Bulldog QFI and subsequently flew with the RSAF in Riyadh with BAE. John then operated as a CAA staff examiner (Exam 06) out of Cranfield for several years. A great guy who I h ad the pleasure of flying alongside on 8 Sqn RSAF. John suffered a sudden stroke on Friday and left us on Monday. John was a total family man and he had his family beside him over the weekend. Blue skies, John . . . I'm raising a glass.

Very saddened to read this exactly two years after the event. I knew John at RAF Wyton when I was SEngO 39 Canberra (PR) Sqn. Rest in Peace old pal.
