Marketing flim-flam. There's no way a credible anti-ship warhead could be fitted into such a small weapon. Anti-patrol boat, maybe, but that's an expensive way to plink them...

I think the intention is for mission kill on multiple systems, rather than letting enough water in to sink the ship.

Technology really has moved on this much, and rightly so.
The Typhoon in current RAF service would stand a chance of being a truly remarkable aircraft if it had 'AESA Plus' - RIGHT NOW.

Because it doesn't - it cannot be. ... How long will they still have to wait ?

'Chase Away' and Decorational purposes only. All the real players have AESA. I weep because it's (NOT) a national embarrassment.
