Jet Provost fleet number
This is a bit of a long shot, but I shall give it a try anyway (I have exhausted Google!).
I am trying to discover the ‘fleet number‘ of JP5 XW405 circa Nov 1972. The aircraft was based at RAFC Cranwell and was the aircraft in which I solo’d on type.
(The airframe is presently on a pole outside Hartlepool College of Further Education!)
thank you
