Belgian NH90 TTH for the chop?

Belgian Defense ministry is musing over (no official word yet AFAIK) retiring their NH90 TTH fleet over cost issues. Plus as I mentioned once F35 thread, it’s partially to do with F-35 procurement and A400M. Also as part of their remit, looking at replacing their legacy A-109M (which I wondered why they didn’t do earlier).

So guessing they will have to rely on their French and a Dutch neighbours for tactical troop transport if this goes ahead?

cheers
