E3 Excuse Me

FR24 shows an interesting "dance" taking place at the moment over the Dogger Bank. The RAF are clockwise at FL290 whilst NATO are counter clockwise at FL310. Is this a ladies excuse me?

Compass swing.
One clockwise, one counter clockwise and divide the difference.

2,000ft verical separation; perfectly legal.
I once had 2 DC8s half a mile apart at FL350; each had the other in sight.

UK and NATO E3's are dancing again over Dogger Bank. This time they're in an anti-clockwise tail chase.
